My initial reaction to the L’Oreal Steampod 3.0 was genuine surprise. The results are truly amazing. L’Oreal’s patented steam technology being put to the test against other hair straighteners and coming out superior to the rest! Working faster, better and with less damage to the hair.

The Steampod 3.0 has gone through a few upgrades in technology as well as a new integrated water tank (*use with demineralised water), extra long rotating cord and being thinner and lighter than ever before. Making the Steampod 3.0 super simple to use to create any look!

There are 3 temperatures to choose from, depending on the texture of your hair (cooler for finer – hotter for thicker) and has a recommended care routine specific to hair type, helping you achieve those soft waves or that sleek, smooth glasslike hair.

There is a continuous steam flow with constant and automatic heat control to enable the most precise results. If you’ve not used a Steampod before, you’ll be blown away by the look and feel of your hair – compared to previous tools you’ve tried.

HERE ARE L'OREALS TIPS FOR STRAIGHTENING

For best results, pre-apply your dedicated SteamPod smoothing cream on wet hair, blowdry, and glide SteamPod down slowly and straighten your hair by sections: the thinner the section, the more precise the result. Take each small strand and slowly move the straightener downwards from root to tip (arrows on the tool pointing towards the tips of your hair) this way, you only need to pass over each section once!

AND CURVACEOUS WAVES

Always section and pre-comb your hair. For natural waves, place a thin strand in the middle of the plates and wrap it around the tool. Then rotate the tool (arrows on the tool pointing to the tips of your hair) while slowly gliding downwards. Let the waves cool off for a few minutes before either shaking or brushing them for a very natural-looking result.
