Hair Bond Strengthening Systems - Saving Hair

Bond strengthening systems are all about being able to colour your hair without fear of damage.  It is especially beneficial for girls with highly processed blonde hair or who are looking to dramatically change the colour of their hair.  By using a bond strengthening system hair breakage is dramatically reduced and hair becomes healthier and stronger. 

These systems work concurrently with any chemical hair process or as a stand alone treatment.  The first two components of the system are done at your hair salon with the third component being undertaken at home.  The third component can also be used as a treatment for anyone with processed or damaged hair with or without the first two components.

Olaplex is a bond multiplier containing a single active ingredient, Bis-Aminopropyl Diglycol Dimaleate. Olaplex works by finding single sulfur hydrogen bonds and cross linking them back together to form disulfide bonds before, during and after services. Disulfide bonds are broken via chemical, thermal, and mechanical processes.

Olaplex is free of silicones, sulfates, phthalates, DEA, aldehydes and is NOT tested on animals.

Olaplex Bond Perfector No 1 & No 2 are in-salon treatments.

Olaplex Hair Perfector No 3 is a take home treatment that can be used even if you haven’t undergone the first two steps.  Using this product will maintain the strength and structure of your hair and keep it looking and feeling soft and shiny from the first use. 

Wet your hair and towel dry.  Apply a generous amount (approx. 50c piece) to your hair and comb it through.  Leave it on for a minimum of 10-20 minutes, however, you can go longer (even leaving it on overnight) depending upon your hair needs.  Rinse out and then shampoo and condition as per normal.

It is important to note that this product is NOT to be used as a leave-in and must be rinsed out.  It is recommended that you use this product every week until your next hair colouring.

Cureplex No 3 Bond Sustainer is a take home product that can be used by anyone at home.   This product will help protect and improve the condition of hair, enhancing its suppleness and imparting shine.

After shampooing your your, rinse well and gently squeeze excess water from hair. Saturate the hair from roots to ends with Curleplex No.3. Comb through gently with a wide tooth comb.  Leave on for a minimum of 5 minutes. Rinse well and blow dry or style as usual. Use twice per week for best results.

Nak Structure Complex with anti-breakage system is compatible with any chemical or in-salon treatment, helping to prevent breakage before it beings.  These products prime, shield and protect the hair during chemical change by preventing hair breakage or structural stress.  It seals, shines and laminates the cortex and cuticle layers for more healthier hair.

Structure Complex No 3 Bond Enhancer is a take home repair treatment.  Using this product will enhance and sustain the anti-breakage system and bond-building technology to impart further strength and hydration, intensifying shine, lustre and cuticle lamination.

Start by shampooing your hair and swap your regular conditioner for Structure Complex No 3.  Saturate hair and leave it in for 30 minutes.   Rinse well and condition if desired.  Blow dry or style as usual.
