The first Monday in May. Around this time, the highly-anticipated fashion event of the year unfolds right before our eyes (even in the comforts of our homes). The Met Gala, formally called the Costume Institute Gala, is a fundraising ball for the benefit of the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute in New York City.
Since 1948, this all-out glamour and fashion event has been serving us all the looks and iconic fashion moments etched in history. This year, we were treated to the theme, In America: An Anthology in Fashion. The dress code excited fashion fans as it focused on gilded glamour.
