  1. Plug in the curling iron and turn it on.
  2. Wait for it to heat up to your desired temperature.
  3. Brush your hair to remove any tangles.
  4. Separate your hair into sections.
  5. Take a section of hair and wrap it around the curling iron barrel, starting at the base of the section.
  6. Hold the hair in place for a few seconds, then release and slide the curling iron out of the hair.
