No. 6 Victoria Beckham

Coming in at number six Victoria Beckham arrived alongside David Beckham in a matching midnight blue dress and suit. Victoria’s hair was styled in a sporty ponytail that recreated her iconic posh spice look. The brunette’s hair had been tied into a low ponytail perfect for the summer’s day. Victoria wore a birdcage sparkly veiled fascinator which matched her mid length dress, this added an elegant finish to her midnight blue outfit. When recreating this hairstyle, we recommend using the Evo End Doctor Smoothing Sealant which is a strand strengthening cream to seal the ends of your hair, giving your ponytail a neat finish.

No. 5 Sophie, Countess of Wessex

This one is all class. Sophie, Countess of Wessex wore a sky blue full-length skirt along with a matching textured top and feathered fascinator. Sophie’s hair was pinned back into a tight bun with the feathered fascinator being the main focus of her hairstyle. Sophie looked elegant, classy and well put together. To recreate Sophie's look, we recommend two products, the first being the Muk Blonde 1 Minute Blonde Toning Treatment to brighten and nourish your blonde hair and reduce brassy, yellow tones and then the Schwarzkopf Osis Session Label Super Dry Fix to hold the style in place.

No. 4 Amal Clooney

The unforgettable appearance of Amal Clooney comes in at number four. Amal arrived alongside her husband George Clooney in a mustard yellow Stella McCartney dress. Amal’s hat was draped in a netted veil while her hair was left in loose waves that were elegantly swept to the side.  The products to use to recreate this look include a styling mousse such as the Paul Mitchell Flexible Style Sculpting Foam and then follow up with the ghd Curl Hold Spray that works in partnership with your styling wand, styler or rollers.  You can finish this look by adding a shine serum such as the O&M Frizzy Logic Shine Serum

No. 3 Jacinda Barrett

Jacinda Barrett, our own Australian actress, former model and Meghan’s co-star from the TV series Suits comes in at number three. Jacinda wore a burgundy Emilia Wickstead dress with a coordinating veiled hat. Her hair was pinned behind her ear with drop curls which looked graceful and chic. Jacinda’s hair is a timeless look which can be easily recreated to suit most mid-length haircuts. When recreating this look, we recommend the L'Anza Healing Style Curl Define Cream which helps create smooth, soft curls when using a hot iron or rollers.  Then finish off with the KMS Hair Stay Working Hairspray which is a dry spray with a touchable, moveable dry finishing spray that allows you to shape hair to create your own unique style.

No. 2 Serena Williams

Braids to a wedding? Who knew it could look so sophisticated. Serena Williams the world-class tennis champion embodied style, confidence and elegance at the Royal wedding. Serena turned heads when she arrived in a pastel pink Atelier Versace dress with a cocktail fascinator. Her braids showed off her natural hair’s texture while focusing on her Versace fascinator as the highlight of her hairstyle. To remake Serena’s braids, we think the Davroe Straightening Balm to tame frizz and smooth hair is perfect to tame curls while using the Wet Brush to detangle hair while creating each braid.

No. 1 Meghan Markle

The lady of the hour. Miss Meghan Markle wore her hair in a bun, which was pinned into coils along the back of her head, with layers of her hair lightly tucked behind her ears sculpting her face. Even though many people have criticised Meghan Markle’s controversial hairstyle, here at SalonStyle we loved it and think that she picked the perfect hairstyle for her wedding.  The Duchess of Sussex’s hair had light hair strands fall out onto the sides of her face during the ceremony which gave her a relaxed and carefree hair look, which harmonised with Meghan’s carefree personality. To recreate Meghan’s style, we recommend using Juuce Kaktis which is a light hold styling cream that moisturises and tames frizz.  Once the style is in place finish off with a strong hold hairspray such as Davines More Inside This is an Extra Strong Hairspray.

As a closing note when recreating many of the above styles, we highly recommend the Muk Curl Stick Collection which offers interchangeable curling sticks to create various curls which can then be shaped as desired before creating an amazing style like the ones above or your own very unique look.
